Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how Revalor LLC, doing business as Chorebit (“Chorebit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and protects information when a parent or guardian (the “Account Holder”) uses Chorebit to manage chores, points, and goals for their family.
2. Children's Privacy Comes First
Chorebit is a household chore-tracking tool used by families. Only a parent or guardian can create a Chorebit account, and only an Account Holder can create, edit, or remove a child (“kid”) profile — a child cannot sign up on their own.
Kid profiles store only what's needed to run the chore/points/goal experience: a first name, an emoji avatar, assigned chores, point balances, and goals the child sets. We do not knowingly collect email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, or any other direct contact information from children, and kid profiles never have their own login credentials — access happens through the parent's account only.
We do not knowingly market to children, show ads to children, or sell or share children's information with third parties for advertising purposes.
3. Information We Collect From Account Holders
Account information:the Account Holder's email address and password (stored securely, hashed, via our authentication provider) when they sign up.
Family data: kid profiles, chores, point balances, approvals, and goals entered by the Account Holder.
Billing information: if the Account Holder subscribes to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. Chorebit does not store full card numbers on our own servers.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information above to operate the Service: authenticate the Account Holder, save and display chores/points/goals, process approvals, process subscription billing, and provide customer support.
5. No Real Money, No Financial Accounts
Chorebit tracks points only. We do not link to a child's bank account, issue cards, or move real money between family members. Subscription payments (if any) are made by the Account Holder to Chorebit, not between family members.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with the service providers needed to run Chorebit (such as our hosting and database provider and our payment processor), and only to the extent needed to provide the Service.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain account and family data for as long as the account is active. An Account Holder can request deletion of their account and associated kid profiles at any time by contacting us at the email below.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and database-level access controls) to protect account and family data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or that of a child in your care. Contact us to exercise these rights.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date above.
